Most car deliveries don't come with a matching child seat. Then again, most car deliveries don't involve a one-of-one hypercar valued at an eight-figure sum. Fernando Alonso isn't like most people, however, with the Aston Martin driver recently taking delivery of a rare and very expensive Pagani Zonda in Monaco.

He took the keys to a bespoke Pagani Zonda 760 Roadster Diamante Verde, a hypercar worth upwards of $11.7million. But while the car is holding more value than most of us will see in our lifetime, everyone's eyes have been focused on the baby seat sitting in the cockpit.

Recaro was good enough to build him a seat that matches his racing helmet, with the brand celebrating Alonso recently becoming a father on the weekend of the Japanese Grand Prix.

After arriving late at the Suzuka Circuit, he confirmed to DAZN the good news. "Fortunately, it went well, both for the mum and the baby. A super happy, very special moment," he said at the time.

Roughly 140 Zondas were built in total between 1999 and 2019, and the Diamante Verde is among the most extraordinary of the lot with a Carbo-Titanium chassis and a Mercedes-AMG 7.3-litre V12, capable of producing 760 horsepower, sat behind the driver's seat and with a redline of 8000rpm.

But it's the unique finish of the car that earns it its name. In certain light, the exposed carbon fibre shines with a green hue.

With barely 500 miles on the clock, the two-time champion is only the second owner of this incredible machine.

The Spaniard’s collection previously reportedly included a Ferrari Enzo, which was said to be sold in 2023 for upwards of $6million, and he has recently purchased a Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, which he is said to have bought for approximately $10million. His garage also currently houses a rare and expensive Aston Martin Valkyrie, a Valiant and a DBX S.
