The Overtaking question, the Fan Experience and the New Teams are just some of the subjects on the agenda for the FOTA Fans Forum, powered by Santander, which takes place at 1pm today in London.

150 Formula 1 fans will meet face to face with leading figures from the sport at the event and discuss all areas of the sport in a "Question Time" format.

The panel for the Forum, held in London on July 1, is led by Martin Whitmarsh, FOTA chairman and team principal of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and features Tony Fernandes, team principal of Lotus Racing, Jock Clear, Senior Race Engineer, Mercedes GP Petronas F1 team, Luca Colajanni, Head of Motorsport Press Office, Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and Paul di Resta, test and reserve driver, Force India F1 team. I am moderating the discussion and will select the questions from the 150 submitted by the fans.

The agenda has been set by the fans, based on the areas of interest shown in their questions. It features six items: The Fan Experience and the Show, The Overtaking Question, Cost control vs Technological Innovation, F1 and the Environment, The New Teams, The Emphasis on Driver Skill.

The event will end with a quick look ahead to prospects for Silverstone next week.

You can follow the discussions live via a Twitter stream from fans, journalists and even the panel, on fanforum

That stream is live now, but the event will start at 1pm.

We are videoing the whole thing and chapters on each of the six subjects will be uploaded onto You Tube tonight and tomorrow and will be posted here on the JA on F1 site.

Please feel free to add your comments and suggestions.
