Formula 1 has landed in Monte Carlo for the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix.

Although the on-track action is yet to begin in Monaco, the lead-up to the race weekend is in full swing. The drivers had a private screening of the highly anticipated F1 movie yesterday, with all in attendance apart from Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll.

On top of this, the annual charity football match was also held at the Stade Louis II. Alpine driver Pierre Gasly served as team captain and was joined by fellow drivers Isack Hadjar and Carlos Sainz, while Charles Leclerc had the honour of kicking the event off.

Home hero Leclerc returns to the glamorous race after clinching his first home victory in 2024. Speaking to Motorsport.com and other media ahead of the race weekend, he shared his expectations for the upcoming race around the streets of Monte Carlo.

"On paper, it doesn’t look like the most promising track for us. But Monaco is so unique and so different from anything we race on over the season that we can have a good surprise once we put the car down tomorrow – which I hope will happen," Leclerc explained.

“And if it does, then I hope to be there on Saturday because qualifying will remain the most important part of the weekend. But on paper, it’s going to be a tough one."
