This edition of F1 Tweets of the Week includes several important announcements from the paddock as the teams and drivers continue their preparation for the new season.
A certain 18-year-old driver took an F1 car down a ski slope in Austria, the video predictably going viral; the world champion made another four-legged friend and it looks like we may already know what livery at least one team has chosen for the year ahead.
It was all captured on social media, so here are the JAonF1 team’s top picks:
Max Verstappen undertook the perilous task of driving a Red Bull demo car down an Austrian mountain – as you do.

Jenson Button asked his fans to vote for which helmet design he should use in 2016 – one based on his previous arrangement in 2013 or an update on the one he used last year. The result was overwhelmingly in favour of the 2013 version, which readers agreed with judging by the comments on the JAonF1 Facebook page.

… and after several days of training and then recovering in Mexico, Lewis Hamilton made sure to check on the progress of his furry new friends.

Felipe Massa met South African rugby player, Victor Matfield – whose height may be a huge advantage in a lineout, but would play havoc with F1 aerodynamics.

Felipe Nasr went on a drive through the stunning landscape of Switzerland, although for an F1 driver, that is surely one unnecessary final hashtag.
