This edition of F1 Tweets of the Week covers the traditional F1 end-of-year awards season as the teams and drivers start to let their hair down as Christmas approaches.

The FIA gala crowned Lewis Hamilton as F1 world champion and Max Verstappen picked up three awards to cap his impressive debut year. Mercedes, Nico Hulkenberg and Verstappen again were among the winners at the Autoport Awards and away from the party seen, two drivers swapped four wheels for two.

It was all captured on social media, so here are the JAonF1 team’s top picks:

First up, Hamilton picked up his world champion’s trophy and Verstappen won a whopping three awards at the FIA gala.
