Before he became Red Bull Racing F1 team principal Christian Horner was a decent racing driver, reaching F3000, the forerunner of the F2 feeder series to F1.

But in accepting the Industry Leader Challenge for 2018, a fund raising effort for the Grand Prix Trust, F1's benevolent fund, Horner looked like he was biting off more than he could chew.

It was decided that his challenge would be to try to drive an Aston Martin Vantage on two wheels, under the tutelage of world record holding stunt driver Terry Grant.

Watch the video to see how he got on:

The Grand Prix Trust is there to get lives back on track when things go wrong, whether it be medical, financial or in a whole host of other ways. Anyone in genuine need who has worked in F1 for over two years is potentially eligible for an award.

The Trust was set up by Sir Jackie Stewart 30 years ago and today Martin Brundle is the Chairman, Ross Brawn, JA on F1's own James Allen, Patrick Head and Red Bull Racing team manager Jonathan Wheatley are among the Trustees.

The Industry Leader Challenge is an annual event presented at the Autosport Awards, which sees one of the most prominent motorsport figures take on a challenge to raise money for the GP Trust. Rather like the Ice Bucket Challenge, they then nominate the next person to take the challenge.
