F1's ultrasoft tyres to make Monaco GP debut
Formula 1's new ultrasoft tyres will make their debut in the Monaco Grand Prix as expected, Pirelli said on Thursday.
The Italian manufacturer announced the three tyre compound choices for the street race that takes place on May 29.
Pirelli will take its three softest compounds to the Monaco race: the soft, the supersoft and the ultrasoft.
The soft and the supersoft are the mandatory tyres that must be used at some point during the race.
The purple-marked ultrasofts are the tyres assigned for Q3.
