McLaren has again scored a one-two during today's qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

The Finn driver Mika Hakkinen clinched his third pole position. Mika was absolutely fastest with a lap time of 1:17.092 which is just over a second slower than last year's pole position time.

David Coulthard was second with a lap time of 1:17.757. Heinz Harald Frentzen was third, with a flying lap with 2 minutes to go to the end of the session.

Jacques Villeneuve couldn't get his Williams to go any faster today. After a good performance on Friday, the Canadian was unable to get his Williams up to pace today during both the free practice sessions and the qualifying session. The result is that Jacques will start the race from 10th place.
