“There is not too much to be learned from today as the changing weather had a slight influence on performance during the free practice. For our part, we worked mainly on set-up and are happy with the handling of the F1-2000. As usual, tomorrow we will see a close fight for the front row positions and we should be on the pace.”
“Today was a usual Friday at the office, apart from the fact that the changeable weather conditions meant we did not get as much work done as usual. The weather does not affect our reliability and the car works just as well here in the cold as it did in the hot conditions we experienced in Barcelona. The car is quite good, although we can still improve the set-up. I only did one installation on wet tyres, but by then the track was already more or less dry.”
“ Today went well and I am happy with what we achieved. We worked on the set up, making improvements for both qualifying and the race. New tyres make a big difference to the lap times at this circuit, so today’s times have little significance. It was very cold and windy out there today.”
