Ralf To Overwhelm Michael - Says Eddie Jordan

Eddie Jordan believes Ralf Schumacher could overwhelm his brother and win the 2001 World Championship title. Speaking at the Nurburgring, the Jordan boss said, 'If Ralf was to win the race here, I believe he can win the Championship. When we took Ralf on at Jordan in 1997 I remember Michael saying to me then that he thought his brother was better than him - although he might not agree with that now. What's for sure is that we look like having a very interesting fight for this year's drivers' championship on our hands.'

Commenting on the Williams team's resurgence, Jordan said, 'It is great to see Williams back so strong, even though from a Jordan point of view it's not a good thing as they are clearly more competitive than us. But what it shows is that teams can turn around a spell of poor results, and, perhaps most importantly, it shows that this can be done without the star names in terms of designers etc. Some people thought that without Newey, Williams could not gain the same competitive edge of old, but it is clear that we are moving into a period in Formula One where success is much more about team work and structure than individuals.'
