Michael Schumacher, a go-kart vendor in Germany, has lost the right to use the nickname "Schumi" when advertising his karts. He has also been ordered to pay costs of 3700 marks. Lawyers for the F1 star put costs closer to 100,000 marks.

Salo disqualified from Australia

The Sauber of Mika Salo has been disqualified after it was found that the front wing did not comply with the regulations. A statement from the stewards said "The team manager and the technical director accepted that the car did not comply with Article 3.11 of the 2000 FIA Formula One Technical regulations".

Ricardo Zonta moves up to 6th place.
