Jaguar principal Niki Lauda has said that only two teams will be supplied with Cosworth customer engines next year. Jaguar currently run the engines and the other team that uses them this year is Arrows but it has been speculated more teams are interested in Cosworth's units.

Jordan are rumoured to be losing the Honda engines they run this year and Minardi have recently been linked with an interest in Cosworth.

Minardi's Mark Webber tested for Jaguar yesterday in Barcelona and the Australian had said it could benefit both himself and his current team. Minardi boss Paul Stoddart recently said it didn't take a genius to figure out what Jaguar might have that Minardi would want.

However, Lauda would prefer only one team to be supplied with Cosworth engines as two will be difficult, let alone three.

"For sure it will be a maximum of two (teams to supply engines to) and we will see if we can do it," Lauda said. "But we have to wait and see and the possibilities and only then will we decide. People think we can supply three customers, but it's not the case. Personally, I think we should only do one, because two will be tough."
