"I am fairly satisfied with my car's behaviour throughout today's qualifying session especially compared to this morning's free practice sessions. We made the appropriate modifications and I realised a clear improvement when I was running on new tyres. We choose the right strategy that helped me to record a good lap time. In my last run, which was fairly good although not perfect, I lost one tenth in the second intermediate but, generally speaking, I believe I did a good performance today."
"Today I experienced a really troubled qualifying session. My problems began during my first flying lap when the front wheels blocked at turn 1 and I hit the barriers luckily without major consequences for my car. I got back to the pit and switched to the T-car which was set-up for me but I was unable to score an acceptable time due to a lack of engine power. As soon as Marc finished his session, I switched to his car and succeeded to qualify. I am so sad that all these problems compromised my qualifying session because this morning my car was feeling pretty good. I hoped to do better in order to give to the mechanics the satisfactions they deserve for they are doing a very good job."
"The fact that one of our cars qualified a mere 2" slower than pole position proves that the M02 is improving more and more. Unfortunately Gaston's mistake deprived us of a better placement of both cars on the starting grid. However, the gap among the grid times is closing more and more, we are close to the group ahead of us, therefore we will be able to struggle for interesting positions in tomorrow's race."
