The Ferraris will be only slightly modified from those used in Monaco. The modifications involve changes to both the engine and the chassis. The team had to cancel their test scheduled after Monaco because of damage to the car that was to be tested. This is the car that Alesi crashed out of the Monaco race. Ferrari will test June 14th to 16th at Imola.

"The result of the Monaco Grand Prix did not adequately reflect the true potential of the 412 T2," said Sporting Director Jean Todt. "Therefore I hope that in Canada our drivers will be able to reap the benefits of everything the team can do for them. Our cars have proved to be quick on all types of track and that is why I am optimistic."
