Button to kick off Barcelona test for McLaren

Jenson Button will be the man in charge of kicking off McLaren's work when Formula One testing resumes at Barcelona next week.

The Woking-based team has revealed the Briton will be in charge of testing duties during the first two days of the test on February 19-20.

Teammate Fernando Alonso, who drove the MP4-30 car first at Jerez last week, will then take over for the final two days of work at the Spanish circuit.

Honda is planning to introduce some upgrades for the second test following the problems it suffered during the first week of running at Jerez.
