BAR's Jenson Button is still doubting that Jacques Villeneuve's untimely pit stop in Melbourne, that held the Englishman up, was not deliberate. The team explained it as radio problems that caused the pair pitting at the same time but Button pointed out that Villeneuve seemed to suffer no further difficulty in communication after the incident.

"To see a definite points finish and a very possible top-six place dashed because your team-mate decides to come in and refuel on the same lap that I had been told to do so is, to put it lightly, frustrating," he told the UK's Guardian newspaper.

"His explanation afterwards was that he had a problem with his radio at the precise time when I was coming in. He had no further problems afterwards."

Button is confident that BAR have given him a car that is capable of being competitive, and may even bring him his first Grand Prix victory. He's raring to go for this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix and just wants Villeneuve to stay out of his way.

"I'm in it to win and finally I believe I'm in a car that should consistently score points, might make a few podiums and could deliver my maiden victory," he said. "That's why I can't wait for this weekend in Kuala Lumpur just as long as my team-mate doesn't hold me up again, accidentally or otherwise."
