"This was a really strange session with three red flags and the rain which arrived for the last fifteen minutes. We could have improved our times, but the circumstances did not permit it. The cars were well set up and it's obvious we would have preferred to be on the front row. But I think we can fight for the win in the race. Tomorrow I hope that we have the necessary reliability to get to the end of the Grand Prix. There is a chance of changeable weather conditions which will make the race even more uncertain and difficult."
"Overall, I am happy with the way things have gone. Just as in Australia, looking at my sector times shows it could have been close. I am pretty confident for the race and I know we can be quick enough in the wet or the dry. On my second run I went off the track and damaged the car's chassis over the kerb, which is why I had to take the spare car. As for the incidents with the advertising panels, it could have been very dangerous if someone had been hurt, but the organisers did not do this on purpose."
"I am satisfied given how little I was able to do. I am very disappointed about all the red flags which interrupted the session, especially the last one when I was on a quick lap. I could have got a really good time. The car went well and the set up was good. If it rains tomorrow, the track conditions will be very difficult because the surface is so slippery. We can be very competitive in the race and this is a track where you can overtake."
