Ferrari drivers Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello will meet for discussions ahead of this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix in a bid to clear the air over their misunderstanding in Malaysia.

Barrichello was angered after Schumacher unexpectedly overtook him in the wet conditions at Sepang, but the world champion insisted he had done nothing wrong.

"It is like in any relationship," explained Schumacher. "You have a difficult moment and you disagree at certain moments, but I don't see Malaysia being a particularly bad situation."

However, Barrichello's comments after the race led to reports of a driver rift at Ferrari and even speculation over the Brazilian's future with the team. The pair now plan to put an end to the stories before they do battle again at Interlagos this weekend.

"We will have a chat over the weekend, sit together, talk together, and find a good solution," said Schumacher. "I don't see it as being a drama and I don't think the working side (of our relationship) will be affected at all."
