Following fuel analysis by the FIA, Benetton's Michael Schumacher and Williams' David Coulthard have been disqualified from the Brazilian Grand Prix for fuel violations. Each driver's fuel was supplied by Elf. The two drivers finished first and second, respectively. Further fuel analysis will be done in Europe to corroborate the post-race findings.
