Rumorville says Mercedes departee Ross Brawn could be making a swift return to the sport with McLaren.
With Martin Whitmarsh taking over the helm at McLaren, he leaves behind a big position to fill.
According to the Telegraph, the Formula One paddock is overflowing with rumors that Ross Brawn is on tap for the position of McLaren F1 team principle.
Brawn recently took a sabbatical from his position of team principle with Mercedes, and has had rumors surrounding him of moves to the FIA, Ferrari and even Williams during the regular season last year.
Now that there is an official opening at a team he has experience with, the move seems much more likely.
“I did have a conversation with him but we were shooting together," Ron Dennis told BBC Sport last year.
“We were having a chat and we're mature motor racing people so of course you're going to talk about life. But going beyond that, as you would expect, it's normal stuff. People probe around, the possible, the impossible. My understanding is he intends to take a year off.”
