Valtteri Bottas expects no further back problems during the Malaysian Grand Prix after completing practice with no major pain on Friday.
The Williams driver was forced to pull out of the Australian Grand Prix two weeks ago because of a back injury, but made his return to the cockpit at Sepang today.
Although he is still recovering, the Finn reported no major problems and expects things to improve as days go by.
"It was nice to be back and it was nice to drive without any major pain, only little things, as we were expecting," said Bottas, who finished the afternoon practice session as fifth fastest.
"But it was consistent during the day, and it was definitely not getting any worse, so that's nice.
"I'm confident for the rest of the weekend. It's only going to get better. We made those adjustments in the seat and pedals so it's much better."
