Bianchi's father: "Every phone call startles me, I fear it is the hospital"

Jules Bianchi's father Philippe talked with the Italian media about his son.

Philippe Bianchi spoke briefly with the Italian media regarding Jules. In a heartfelt interview, he revealed that he hasn't given up hope as his son fights for his life in a Japanese hospital.

Talking with the La Gazzetta dello Sport, Philippe said that he just looks at Jules sometimes and says, "Come on, get up, what are you doing lying there? Let's get away from Japan Jules, let's go home." He added that phone calls always startle him because he's worried that it is the hospital with bad news.

At this time, he believes Jules will be in a situation similar to Schumacher where it will be a lengthy road to recovery. Jules is currently breathing with assistance from a machine and has not regained consciousness since the accident.
