The Mild Seven Benetton Renault Sport team today completed a three day test with Jenson Button. Unfortunately Jenson and the team were unable to complete the planned dry weather programme this morning due to wet conditions.

Jenson ran 8 laps to investigate the circuit, but running was curtailed by an accident involving the Sauber driver Kimi Raikkonen. Our test driver Mark Webber will take over from Jenson Button this afternoon to conclude our programme with pre-planned wet tyre testing for Michelin.

Mike Gascoyne, Technical Director: "A challenging day due to weather conditions. Overall we have had a successful three days at Magny Cours, and are looking forward to the Italian Grand Prix."
