BELGIAN GRAND PRIX PRACTICE SESSION - 28th AUGUST 1998

The Danka Zepter Arrows Team finished today's Practice Session for the Belgian Grand Prix with its drivers Mika Salo in 17th and Pedro Diniz in 19th position. The second part of the morning's session was at one point red-flagged when Villeneuve's car spun off into a tyre wall, demolishing it in the process.

Mika Salo: "I lost a lot of track time this morning, due to a number of small problems. It took a while to get a balance on the car, but the biggest problem was that we could not find any grip. We will have to do a lot of work to find a good set-up for tomorrow's qualifying when we will be using our new D-spec engine."

Pedro Diniz: "We have been working all day to find a good race set-up and running with quite a lot of fuel. We were planning to run with less fuel towards the end of the session, but unfortunately there was not enough time left to change this. However, we managed to do some useful work on improving the balance of the car. I think the new D-type engine will be of great help to us tomorrow, as was shown during our test at Silverstone last week."

Chassis Numbers: Pedro Diniz 01, Mika Salo 05, Spare 02.
