Testing resumed at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona today with four teams and five drivers taking part in the session -- which was delayed in the morning due to fog. The track only dried out enough for competitive times in the afternoon. Jarno Trulli in the Renault R202 topped the time sheets with a 1.19.439, the only time under 1.20, after putting in 45 laps.

Second fastest was the new Arrows A23 -- which remained intact after rear wing problems last week -- with Enrique Bernoldi behind the wheel, ahead of Takuma Sato for Jordan in the EJ12. Marcel Lassee was in action again for Jordan, firing speculation that he'll shortly be named as the team's test driver. Lassee was also using the EJ12 chassis and finished just over a second slower than Sato. Fifth was Alex Yoong, the Minardi PS02 six seconds off the pace of Trulli.
