Both Honda and BAR are looking forward to the season ahead and were keen to acknowledge that future growth and development were of the utmost importance to all involved.

Craig Pollock, Managing Director of British American Racing Honda. " Whilst last year was a big improvement on our debut season, our goal was to finish 5th in the Constructors' Championship, although looking back we know we could have done better. Our 2001 goal is to improve on that 5th position and with the team and positive overall improvements that we have made then that goal could be achievable".

The next six weeks will see a continuation of an intensive testing programme, including Barcelona and Kyalami in preparation of the first race of the season in Melbourne.
