Team RED BULL SAUBER PETRONAS spent three days testing at Silverstone last week in preparation for the Austrian Grand Prix. This embraced the customary pre-race chassis set-up work, together with aerodynamic optimisation and engine mapping.

Team RED BULL SAUBER PETRONAS is delighted to welcome on Sunday, one of the most popular Swiss Champion Sonja NEF, World Nr 2 in giant slalom skiing.

Willy Rampf (Technical Director):
I am happy that we have made some progress in our search for improved traction and grip from the RED BULL SAUBER PETRONAS C19, following our intensive testing.

Peter Sauber (Team Principal):
The results of our testing have been pleasing, and we hope to challenge hard for further World Championship points this weekend.

Pedro Diniz (90 GPs, 10 World Championship points):
I like Austria very much. It reminds me of good moments, having finished sixth there in the past. I hope I can do something similar – or better – this year.

Mika Salo (84 GPs, 28 World Championship points):
The Austrians have had traditionally a wonderful circuit. When they rebuilt it, I feel that the shorter modern version of the A1 has lost its former character. It is now a succession of three medium length straights and a twisty section as well, but offers a driver less in the way of a challenge than the old circuit did.
