Jean Todt:
"Today, as every Friday, we worked towards the race. Not having done any testing here, the work concentrated mainly on set-up and the aerodynamic balance of the cars. Michael also did some tyre testing, using three sets, while Rubens used the same set all day. Qualifying will see the usual close fight between ourselves and our regular opponents.

Michael Schumacher:
"We did the usual Friday job of preparing ourselves for the race, working on set up and other matters. The car is not yet perfect, but it is nearly there. The balance is reasonable. I used three sets of new tyres today, because I felt like it! We still have to do more work in this area tomorrow. As for the track, it is a bit slippery and they have changed the kerbs since last year. I am sure qualifying will be very close indeed. I could be first or fourth. It will be a long race on Sunday. We are well prepared for that and we will have to see how competitive we are."

Rubens Barrichello:
"As this is a circuit where we do not test, you go quicker with every lap you do and the tyres also seem to improve lap by lap. I am happy with the balance on my car. On this track you need to find the right balance between aerodynamic and mechanical grip. If you run with low downforce to pick up speed on the straights, you run the risk of having problems in the slower corners. I am happy with what we have achieved today."
