The OrangeArrows team completed a successful shakedown of its 2002 contender, the A23, yesterday (Sunday) at a secret location in the UK. The shakedown programme then moved on to Kemble in Gloucestershire this morning.

Prior to departing for Spain, the team used the shakedown to check over the car’s systems before it is put through intensive track testing in Valencia later this week. The car ran in black and orange livery without sponsorship logos.

Arrows is the only team to leave testing the new car so late in the year and there is still no announcement of who will partner Enrique Bernoldi for the season. An official launch date for the A23 has also yet to be confirmed -- in the past Arrows have launched the day before the opening race in the Albert Park pit lane.
