Alonso back in McLaren's simulator

Fernando Alonso continues to make progress towards its return to action in the Malaysian Grand Prix after being in McLaren's factory on Tuesday.

The Spaniard, ruled out of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix after his accident during testing in February, will be back in McLaren's simulator tomorrow, the team said on Twitter.

Kevin Magnussen replaced Alonso in Melbourne, but he retired before the race even started.

Teammate Jenson Button finished in 11th place, two laps down, as the team struggled with its Honda engine.
