Alfa Romeo has had a rollercoaster relationship with the Formula 1 World Championship, and it’s never been better than its first two seasons when it took back-to-back world titles. Alfa returned at the end of the 1970s for seven years before pulling out again. Now it’s back, having taken over Sauber’s entry for 2019.
