adidas is bringing a summertime feel to the paddock in Miami. The sportswear manufacturer, which launched its partnership with Mercedes earlier this year, has unveiled their new summer collection inspired by the mangroves of Miami.

Crafted to stand out from the rest of the grid, the design team incorporated elements of the city’s mangroves, which are a native shrub rooted in the foundation of the region. The pieces in the collection incorporate a contemporary black graphic of its leaves, alongside shades of coral and burgundy.

The collection includes a hero driver’s jersey, which will be worn by George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, along with additional fanwear including a jacket, t-shirts, adilettes slides, loungewear and multiple accessories in the bright new colorway. Michael Batz, general manager of the motorsport category at adidas, said he and his team wanted to “capture the essence of Miami in a fresh and unexpected way.”

“Miami is one of the most anticipated races on the calendar, a city known for both sport and style, making it the ideal location to debut the first adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 race day collection for Summer 2025,” he said. “This collection is brought to life with bold hues and prints which bring a vibrant splash of Miami style to the F1 paddock this May.”

Richard Sanders, chief commercial officer at Mercedes, said the team inked the deal with the sportswear manufacture in order to “bring a fresh perspective” to their team kit and merchandise offerings.

“Our first race-specific collection delivers on that with its bold design that celebrates the natural roots of Miami,” he said. “Dropping our summer collection at a race that symbolizes so much about how our sport and team has grown and reached new audiences in recent years feels appropriate. We can't wait to see the fans in the grandstands, and those watching around the world, showing their support in the vibrant colors of the summer pack."

Ahead of the race in Miami, the adidas x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Summer collection is available to purchase from a section of adidas wholesale accounts and adidas.com/motorsport.
