Due to an increase in demand, the organizers judged it necessary to immediately add a new section of seating in Grandstand 12 in the Senna corner.

In regards to other Grandstands it is still possible to order tickets in Grandstands 21 and 34 in the hairpin, 31 in the chicane of the Island Bridge and the Family Grandstand, also known as Grandstand 33 where children 15 years of age and younger are admitted free of charge and fans over the age of 65 can purchase tickets at half price.

Popular Grandstand 2 with no reserved seating still has limited availability. As always it is still possible to purchase General Admission tickets. Only the ‘’Elite Restaurant’’, ‘’ Podium Club’’ and ‘’Privilege 12’’ can still welcome guests in the Individual Corporate Packages formula.

Though there are still tickets available in different Grandstands, the F1 Grand Prix du Canada organizers are extremely satisfied by the turnout that is already much greater than in 2015. “Max Verstappen’s recent win in Spain, the exciting Monaco Grand Prix, the warm weather that has finally settled in and the fact that our event is presented during the second weekend of June contribute to the successful sales were are seeing right now”, said Francois Dumontier, President and CEO of Octane Racing Group.

Tickets for the 2016 F1 Grand Prix du Canada, which will be held on 10, 11 and 12 June, are on sale. Please note that Grandstand 11 is sold out, as is the Popular Grandstand 1 for Sunday. Fans may call the ticket office at 514 350-0000 or 1-855-790-1245, every weekday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., or they can order their tickets online at www.circuitgillesvilleneuve.ca or www.admission.com.

Also, as of Monday, June 6, 2016, tickets be available at the ticket office located next to the Jean-Drapeau station subway station building on Island Sainte-Hélène.
