When will F1: The Academy be released?

F1: The Academy is set to premiere on May 28, 2025.

How to watch F1: The Academy

As Netflix's newest sports series, F1: The Academy will be exclusive to the streaming service. For those watching in the UK, Netflix is currently available with three different plans, ranging from £5.99 to £18.99 per month. For those in the United States, it ranges from $7.99 to $24.99 per month.

The trailer for F1: The Academy was released earlier this month.

What is F1: The Academy about?

The first series of F1: The Academy follows the 2024 F1 Academy season. Following a similar setup to the popular Netflix docuseries Drive to Survive, which follows Formula 1, the new programme will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the all-female racing series.

F1 Academy managing director Wolff has been working to provide the drivers with a larger platform to propel their racing careers, and the series is sure to play a large part in this. As well as expanding the audience of the racing, F1: The Academy will also give fans an opportunity to connect to the drivers themselves on a personal level - something Drive to Survive succeeded in.
