F1 Academy: When and how to watch the 2025 season-opener in Shanghai
The third year of F1 Academy is back and will kick off in Shanghai this weekend.

It's race week for F1 Academy as the 2025 season kicks off in Shanghai. The all-female racing series visits China for the first time and will feature as part of the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix weekend.
The race weekend comprises a 30-minute practice session followed by a 30-minute qualifying on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will host a race each day, both of which will be 13 laps.

How to watch F1 Academy in Shanghai
Fans from all regions will be able to follow the 2025 F1 Academy season live on F1 TV and the official F1 Academy YouTube channel. For fans watching in the UK, Sky Sports F1 will also be broadcasting the races live.
F1 Academy will release a full list of broadcasters for each country shortly.
F1 Academy: 2025 teams and drivers
The 2025 F1 Academy will feature six teams, each comprising of three drivers. Each Formula 1 team supports at least one driver and the remaining drivers are supported by key sponsors of the series.
