F1 Academy Las Vegas debut announced as 2025 calendar revealed

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit will host the 2025 finale of the F1 Academy season, which will once again consist of seven rounds.

The street track is one of three new additions for the female-only series, with Shanghai and Montreal also joining the calendar from next year.

The seven rounds will consist of 14 races as F1 Academy continues to run on Formula 1 weekends, maximising viewing figures both at the track and across the 160 territories that receive the broadcast.

“I am proud to announce our F1 Academy 2025 calendar, which demonstrates our continued commitment to taking the series to new heights, expanding our global reach and bringing our mission to an increasingly diverse and engaged global audience,” F1 Academy managing director Susie Wolff said.

“I want to thank our promoters for their enthusiasm and support, and for joining us on our journey to create opportunities for women to thrive at every level of our sport.

“Finishing our season in Las Vegas will be an iconic moment, and its addition to the calendar is testament to the wealth of support we receive from Formula 1 and Liberty Media.”

The season will open in Shanghai on March 21, before heading to Jeddah and Miami – both of which were on the 2024 calendar, along with Barcelona.

Another stop in North America will see F1 Academy debut in Canada on June 13 and, ahead of the season-closing round in Vegas, it will take in races at Zandvoort and Singapore.

There are currently two races remaining of the 2024 season, in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, with both destinations set to drop off the calendar from next year.

Alpine Academy driver Abbie Pulling currently leads the standings for Rodin Motorsport, with a fully-funded seat for 2025 in GB3 up for grabs for this year’s champion.
