Imola F3: Stroll doubles up with dominant victory
Lance Stroll celebrated his recently-confirmed European F3 title by comfortably winning Race 3 at Imola, triumphing for the second time this weekend.
The Canadian, who became the 2016 champion following the Sunday morning race, started from pole and led by a second after just one lap.
He continued to rapidly pull away from George Russell to eventually take the chequered flag with a gap of 7.5s.
Russell finished second after passing Callum Ilott at the start, the Van Amersfoort driver recovering from two non-scoring races with a podium finish.
Ralf Aron repeated his Race 2 result in fourth, finishing ahead of fellow rookies Joel Eriksson and Anthoine Hubert.
Mucke duo Mikkel Jensen and David Beckmann took seventh and ninth respectively with Nick Cassidy finishing between them.
Ferrari protege Guan Yu Zhou scored one point in 10th, followed by Sergio Sette Camara.
