Race 2 at the Nurburgring was not even close to be as successful as Race 1 for Edoardo Piscopo. The young Italian started from row 3, eager to repeat the podium scored on Saturday, but was hit from behind by Japanese Kamui Kobayashi, with the subsequent contact literally destroying any chance to score important points. The next round of the 2007 season is set to take place at Barcelona on September 22-23.

Edoardo Piscopo Red Bull Junior Program Driver:

"This time I really have nothing to say. Someone else hit me at first lap, and it ain't the first time. At least this weekend brought me a maiden podium finish, before bad luck came back to its usual level. Apart from jokes, I have to say that the car is handling good, and everything is almost perfect. I'm faithfully looking to the final races of the season."
