Erik Janis repeated his Saturday result in England

Twelfth position in yesterday's race, at today's start as well as in today's finish. Such is the statistics that speaks for Erik Janis in Formula 3 Euro Series weekend at the famous Brands Hatch circuit. Mucke Motorsport pilot was herewith classified as the fourth best rookie, and he jumped again onto the third place in the ROOKIES through-standings which he had lost on Saurday. He misses just three points to the rookies leader.

Mercedes Benz Junior is now heading for the studio of Czech TV SPORT 5 where he is going to appear in the discussion "What is on".

Erik Janis: "It is quite hard to overtake at Brands Hatch, which proved true today. I retained my position from the start to the chequered flag. Just like many others. Well, I changed my position twice, and that was when I lost one position, then I pushed my rival and made him blunder. So I got back to my twelfth position. There are three weekend races left and I will do my best to lead the rookies standings again and even to score in the points' standings."

Peter Mucke, Team Principal: "Today Erik was the best racer of our team. But altogether, it was not a very successful day for us. We didn't score any point in the standings. Thus, we must succeed in the following six races."
