In Saturday's qualifying session the duo of Maximilian Buhk and Dominik Baumann ensured another pole position. Their team colleagues Mika Vähämäki and Max Nilsson got up to fourth position for the last race.

Start went well for the crew with the car starting nr. 101 and Mercedes of the Czech team HEICO-GRAVITY CHAROUZ got at the turn 1 to the field of the GT1 World Championship. On the other hand, the race was a bit heroic for the team, as Dominik Baumann was spun by one of McLaren. The silver-blue car of the team HEICO-GRAVITY CHAROUZ fell from leader of the race to fifth place in the European championship classification. Great drive from Buhk and quick work of mechanics during the obligatory pit stop brought them back to the lead of the race. Baumann and Buhk won the last race of the 2012 season, which was actually their sixth victory during the season.

The second crew of the Czech team Mika Vähämäki and Max Nilsson were unlucky right at the first corner when it came to the heavy traffic and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 spun on the track. Moreover to the Scandinavian crew opened the door. With one lap loss Mika and Max finished ninth.

Both crews of the Czech team HEICO-GRAVITY CHAROUZ scored on Sunday the necessary points to ensure to the Czech team the Team Championship title in the FIA GT3 European Championship.

Dominik Baumann: "Before the season we did not know each other with Max and for GT racing cars we were very young. During one year we managed to become close friends. Max showed good pace in his first season with GT cars. I think my second season was also not bad. Who can say that in his second season, is the Champion? I would like to thank to everyone in the team, it was a sensational year."

Maximilian Buhk: "We managed to bring our sensation season to a victorious end. The team deserved to win. On each circuit, we have been this year with our Mercedes, we were fast. It was an amazing weekend. It was not easy, but we still confirmed our pace. I want to thank to the entire team for their hard work."

Antonin Charouz: "I am extremely happy! It's an excellent result for all. After a long time our team won again a championship title in European Championship. Big thanks to our drivers and the whole team for a perfect work during the season. I also would like to thank to our partners, without whom it would not be able to do so.”
