The two Jamec Pem Audi R8s led the way in the second practice session at the Bathurst 12 Hour.
It was the factory-backed Nissan GT-R that set the pace early in the one-hour session, Katsumasa Chiyo wasting no time getting down to a 2m04.819s.
But by three-quarters of the way through, it was the #74 Audi that was in control, Christopher Mies putting the car on top with a 2m04.661s.
Alvaro Parente did briefly take top spot in the Tekno McLaren with seven minutes to go, but Christopher Haase had the last word, topping the session with a late 2m04.087s.
Rene Rast capped off a good session for the Jamec Pem team by going second fastest with a 2m04.116s in the #75 R8, while Parente wound up third with his 2m04.571s.
The #31 Bentley was fourth fastest, while Chiyo’s early time was good enough to keep the NISMO car P5 at the finish.
There were no red flags during the session, however there was some minor damage for the #63 Erebus Mercedes thanks to Maro Engel tagging the wall early in the session.
