CONSISTENCY IS KEY
Nearing the 10 hours mark in the race, the team and supporters are very happy with the results to date and the solid performance of the vehicles. The track has been dry since the beginning of the race at 4pm this afternoon and looks as though this dry weather will hold through to the morning and the following day.
Both Honda Civic's are performing brilliantly and at time of writing Car 193 with drivers Mark Corbett, Brent Greer, Rod Hicks and Dean Cockerton is sitting in 104th position overall with 46 laps under their belts. Car 192 driven by Jeff Lowery, Dr Greg Taylor, Alistair Taylor and Brain McGovern are in 119th position with 44 laps completed.
The Gotz prepared Audi RS4 is proving to be a far more effective speed machine, currently sitting 44th overall, 53 laps completed and all drivers in good condition.
Lap times for both teams have increased about 45 seconds since nightfall as drivers become more cautious with the limited visibility.
