Kruse Motorsport ready for overtaking lane at Valencia

Three weeks after an exciting opening race at Monza the Le Mans Series is now heading to its 2nd Round at "Circuito Ricardo Tormo", 20 km west of Valencia. Kruse Motorsport is aiming for a top result on the tiny and twisting circuit, but the challenge in LMP2 is currently stronger than ever.

Kai Kruse (Team Manager): "Well, we have put a lot of engery into optimizing our package, sorting out many small probleme and the 5th place at Monza showed that our strategy paid off. Reliability remains our top priority, so I was really happy that we could complete some valuable millage today."

Norbert Siedler (Driver): "The car feels definitely better than in Monza, that's for sure. What we have to do now is to work on our set up, give our best in qualifying and avoid any mistakes in the race."

Jean de Pourtales (Driver): "Unfortunately my seat position is still not perfect and with the new set of tyres we had a lot of vibrations. Apart from that I am very happy with the car and therefore I am pretty optimistik for the rest of the weekend."

Tony Burgess (Driver): "On a track like that, where the aerodynic is not that important, it is much easier for me to handle the car. It is very forgiving, so I was pushing very hard. Maybe I was even a little bit too aggressive."

Kruse Motorsport, who finished todays 1st and 2nd free practice session in 7th and 10th position respectively, will now focus on their car set-up for tomorrow's qualifying.
