The Ligier JS P3 will be made available later this year.
Automotive Onroak has expanded its range of sports-prototypes with the Ligier JS P3, a model for the new LMP3 division. The French manufacturer has already enjoyed success in LMP2 with the Ligier JS and Morgan LMP2 category, as well as the Ligier JS 53 EVO (CN).
A release from the team revealed that the car will be officially presented to the public at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this June and the first race-ready models will be available by September.
"This Ligier JS P3 confirms our ambition to develop and offer a full range of sports-prototypes dedicated to endurance, said Jacques Nicolet, President of Onroak Automotive. We were already successful in the market categories CN and LM P2. With our expertise, experience, and the time we preferred to give us its design and development, we are confident that this new model will be a success. We want to build a real industry in endurance and thus support our customers from one category to another."
Onroak is the fourth constructor to join LMP3, along with Riley Technologies, Ginetta, and LAS Motorsport.
