Harry Tincknell re-joins Jota for ELMS season

Tincknell join forces with Dolan and Albuquerque.

Harry Tincknell will return to Jota Sport for a second full ELMS campaign this season. The news which will officially be confirmed today sees the 23 year-old British racer join Simon Dolan and Filipe Albuquerque in the Gibson-Nissan.

Tincknell who was chosen as one of the Nissan Motorsport drivers for the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO LMP1 cars tested for the team at Paul Ricard last Monday after the previously signed Nick Yelloly split with the team to pursue what is believed to be a fulltime GP2 drive with Hillmer Motorsports. Tincknell will dovetail his commitments with Nissan and Jota this season.

Tincknell, Dolan and Albuquerque enjoyed a stellar 2015 where they scored three podiums – including one win – and four pole-positions in ELMS last season.

Motorsport.com understands that Jota are evaluating several drivers to join Dolan and Mitch Evans at the Spa WEC round and the Le Mans 24 Hours. An announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
