Pierre Fillon, President of the ACO, said: “We are very pleased to announce this partnership with the World Series by Renault, which continues the long story of cooperation between the ACO and Renault. Each of the three weekends will provide visitors with a mixture of high powered singleseater racing along with Le Mans style endurance racing with LM Prototypes and GT cars in a 3-hour race. We are sure this will provide everyone taking part - teams, drivers and spectators - with a great atmosphere at each of these events.”

Patrice Ratti, CEO of Renault Sport Technologies (RST), said: “The World Series by Renault format has for the last 8 years provided some great racing as well as great entertainment for 5 million spectators all over European best tracks. Through our single seater categories we have developed a successful platform for preparing emerging talents for the Formula 1. We are pleased to welcome the ELMS which will be a great addition to this, providing a different type of racing to the sprint format of World Series by Renault. We are proud that the ACO has chosen us to stage 3 of their races.”
