Molina stripped of Oschersleben pole

As a result, the stewards of the meeting excluded the Spaniard from the results. Accordingly, pole position goes to BMW driver Marco Wittmann, the winner of the season opener at Hockenheim. All other drivers also move up one position on the starting grid.

The team renounced an appeal, Molina will be allowed to start the race on Sunday (13.30hrs, 12.30 hrs BST) from the back of the grid.
