Matthew Brabham and Mitch Evans headline the list of six drivers invited by Audi Sport to test the manufacturer's RS 5 DTM challenger at Jerez.

Antonio Giovinazzi, Audi Sport Team Phoenix.

Brabham and Evans will be joined by Antonio Giovinazzi, who had made his DTM debut at Moscow as a replacement driver, as well as Alex Palou, Ben Hanley and Arthur Pic.

Brabham, 21, is the grandson of Formula 1 legend Sir Jack Brabham and has starred in Mazda Road to Indy in the junior years of his career, winning dominant titles in USF2000 and Pro Mazda.

However, he has been largely on the sidelines in 2015 and is working on a deal to race in the 100th running of the Indy 500 in 2016.

Evans, also 21, has spent the last three years in GP2 with four wins to his name, having won the GP3 title earlier. He had previously confirmed he was eyeing a switch to endurance racing and tested Porsche's LMP1 challenger in Bahrain.

30-year-old Hanley was prominent driver in junior single-seaters in the previous decade, the highlight of his career being a runner-up finish in Formula Renault 3.5 in 2007. He has largely focussed on karting in recent years and won the European Championship in 2015.

Palou, 18, has just celebrated his maiden GP3 victory at Yas Marina, ending a promising rookie season in the category in 10th place. He had already tested the Audi machine at Jerez last December.

21-year-old Giovinazzi ended this year's European F3 season as runner-up to Felix Rosenqvist, while Arthur Pic took 11th in GP2 and did not add to his maiden win from 2014.

The six drivers will be coached by Audi regulars Miguel Molina and Mattias Ekstrom during the test.

Audi confirmed that all eight of its DTM drivers will be retained for 2016 on Saturday.
