McMillen Continues Improvement; Now Flying Valley Screen Imaging Livery
STANTON, Mi. - Terry McMillen entered the 2001 season with heaping amounts of optimism. It's apparent that his good vibes were justified. At the recently completed IHRA CARQUEST Empire Nationals in Leicester, N.Y., the 47-year old, electrical engineer from Elkhart, Indiana posted yet another quarter-final finish. Not that his good fortunes ended there either, McMillen also debuted a new sponsor, Valley Screen Imaging.
McMillen is pleasantly pleased with the good fortunes that he has encountered thus far in 2001.
"This season has been incredible," explained McMillen, who is able to boast a top ten ranking in the Funny Car division this year. "We have had some good breaks along the way, and we've surrounded ourselves with good people. This season is far from over, so we plan to give it our best along the way."
McMillen made his backers at Valley Screen happy when his first run at Leicester produced a career best 5.918, 235.64.
The backing from Valley Screen has come at a good time in the season for McMillen. Valley Screen Imaging agreed to a two-race deal that began in Leicester and will continue in Stanton, Michigan for this weekend's CARQUEST Northern Nationals.
McMillen explained, "With the continued support of Valley Screen and Jack Todd, Hoosier Thunder Motorsports has been able to have a new look for many of the races showcasing the creative minds of the personnel at Valley Screen."
Valley Screen's Jack Todd added, "We like to have an aggressive approach to designing graphics packages for the racers. It really pays off for the racers to give their equipment a new look. The packages will give the teams a winning image for high impact marketing and sponsor exposure. The racing industry has become a large part of our business!"
In Stanton, Hoosier Thunder will be hosting a hospitality weekend for guests of Valley Screen. These guests will include many of the decision-makers for various RV manufacturers and as well as the employees of Valley Screen that are involved in the creative process at Valley Screen.
