LAS VEGAS –The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway turned up the heat and brought fans to their feet Saturday evening with the Speedway Casino Jet Car Night of Fire and a spectacular fireworks finale. “It was awesome to run at The Strip,” said K.C. Jones, driver of the Cannonball Express Jet Locomotive. “Everything went great on the track and hearing the fans cheer as we were towing the car down the return road made the night really special for all the drivers.” The pyrotechnic excitement shifted from the dragstrip to the desert sky at the end of the evening as fans were treated to a pre-Fourth of July fireworks celebration. The colorful light show dazzled race fans at The Strip and half-mile dirt oval.
